Roundness test machine

The equipment comes with a precise turntable that simplifies the crucial setup work for measuring roundness and cylindricity by accurately centering and leveling the workpiece. Additionally, standard features include flatness and parallelism measurement capabilities.

The high rotational accuracy of the system (0.02+3.5H/10000 μm in the radial direction and 0.02+3.5X/10000 μm in the axial direction) allows for measurement of flatness and other characteristics in addition to roundness and cylindricity. This makes the equipment suitable for a wide range of applications.

  • Mitutoyo’s double-sided conical stylus enables continuous measurement of both upper and lower surfaces, providing data that can facilitate analysis of previously difficult-to-measure features, such as the effective diameter of an internal screw-thread.

Precision-type Image Measuring Machines are ideal for inspecting high-precision CNC turned parts such as automotive transmission shafts.

With upper and lower center tips on both ends, it will produce a more precise measurement result. In addition, a precise collet can be used in place of the lower center tip. Ultra-telecentric image technology is also incorporated to enhance the measuring precision.
