Hello everyone. It’s Grace again. Today I am going to share the surface treatments in our daily production. Some of them is to protect parts or material getting rust, corrosion . Some of them is making parts in good looking.
Now let’s go to see the different surface treatment in different material.
- Stainless steel.
As the stainless steel contained Chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), molybdenum (Mo), titanium (Ti) and other high quality metal elements, we reserve the raw surface after machining most of time. Polish is frequent to see.
2.Steel .
There are many options for steel, such as Black, nickel plating, zinc plating (Galvanize), chrome ect.
- Black – rust protection
- Nickel plating.
As its high stability in the air and strong passivate ability, nickel layer is using for corrosion protection.
After nickel plating, the parts will be very bright. So it highly used for decoration too.
- Zinc plating- rust protection
Hot dip galvanize is cheaper, but not in good looking.
Galvanize is normal we do. It can be made in different color. Normally we make blue and yellow.
- Aluminium – protection, decorate and isolation . It can be made in different color, such as black nature, red.
Anodizing, hard anodizing and blasting + anodizing.
