How to recognize the process craft of your item is milling or turning ?
Only one sentence keep in mind: Turning is only making items/material into round or cylinder shape in horizontal.
Turning is make the parts by clamp rotation, so turning only can make item/material into round or cylinder shape.

That’s it! That’s turning. Turning only makes the item/material into round or cylinder shape. The others are milling.
Milling is VERTICAL machining which can help us to make the items/material in any shape we wanna. (Except round or cylinder shape. why? Cause turning can make that. Most of time we make parts by both turning and milling ).
